wanted to do the same for others. It was somewhat fitting that when I graduated in 1997, I was given the American Academy of Orthodontics award.
I left London and moved to Whitby in 1997 and I was pleased to join this dental practice, which has been a fixture on Whitby ’s main street since 1967 when it was opened by Dr. Nicholas V. Baker who retired in 2003. I enjoy serving Whitby ’s community and keep up to date with the latest advances in Dentistry techniques. I regularly attend continuing education courses to upgrade my knowledge and skills. Some courses I have taken recently include Orthodontics and Advances in Esthetic Dentistry.
In my free time, I enjoy music and acting. I have played the trumpet with the Pickering Concert Band and I am involved with the Oshawa Little Theatre. In fact – I won the “Thea” award for best supporting actor in a musical last year. It has been fun to hear that patients in the audience have been watching me act onstage thinking “that guy looks familiar – hey wait! That’s my dentist!!!” |
